The Argon 18 Krypton 105 Di2 is Argon 18's most versatile road bike — a carbon all-road machine built in the Montreal brand's tradition of precise engineering and rider-first geometry. Where pure road bikes demand sacrifice and gravel bikes ask you to slow down, the Krypton holds a more useful line: fast enough for a spirited group ride, stable enough for a long day on mixed surfaces, and comfortable enough to want to repeat it. Argon 18 describes it plainly as their most versatile bike, and that clarity of purpose is evident in every decision made on this frame.

Frame Engineering

The Krypton's carbon frame is built around several interlocking technologies that work together rather than competing. The Topological Compliance System — Argon 18's approach to ride quality — decouples vertical flex from lateral stiffness by engineering compliance into specific areas of the frame. The result is a bike that absorbs road chatter and dampens vibration without going soft when you're putting power through it in a sprint or a sustained climb. Paired with Endurance Geometry, which positions the rider in a slightly more relaxed stance than a pure race bike, the Krypton is designed for the hours of riding where position fatigue becomes the limiting factor before fitness does. Argon 18 also applies size-specific geometry through their Argon Fit System, meaning the frame shapes shift as you move through the size run rather than simply scaling the same triangle up or down. XXS through XL riders each get a geometry calibrated to their proportions.

Shimano 105 Di2

Shimano's 105 Di2 groupset brings 12-speed electronic shifting to a price point that used to belong to mechanical-only builds. The R7150 derailleurs handle front and rear actuation with the same servo-motor precision as Shimano's higher-tier electronic systems — shifts are consistent whether you're pushing hard or soft-pedaling through a descent. R7170 levers integrate the controls with hydraulic disc brakes, and Shimano RT70 rotors at 160mm front and 140mm rear handle the stopping. A 50/34 compact crankset paired with an 11-34T cassette gives the Krypton a wide spread for climbing without leaving gaps in the middle of the range. The Token T47 bottom bracket keeps the drivetrain running cleanly in a threaded shell format that's easy to service. Scope S4.A wheels carry Vittoria Corsa N.EXT G2.0 tires in 700x32 — wide enough to run at lower pressure for comfort and grip, narrow enough to hold reasonable pace on pavement.

Built for the Long Haul

Argon 18 engineered practical features into this frame that show up on the rides where they matter. The Integrated Toolkit is a storage compartment built into the downtube — space for a multi-tool, a tube, or an energy bar, accessed without a bag. On long days away from services, or on mixed routes where a saddle bag would create drag, that's genuinely useful. The 3D System refers to the headset design, which allows fit adjustments — height, reach, offset — without cutting the steerer or committing to a fixed stack. It's a small thing until you're trying to dial in position over a few months of riding, at which point the flexibility is significant. The Argon 18 TDS-C seatpost, FSA SMR stem, and FSA Energy SCR Compact handlebar round out the cockpit, with Ciclovation Leather Touch bar tape stock.

The Krypton 105 Di2 is the entry point into the Krypton lineup, and the 105 Di2 groupset represents a genuine upgrade path from mechanical components rather than a compromise. At $5,299, it puts Argon 18's carbon engineering and electronic shifting within reach of riders who've been waiting for the price to come down. Available in Rainbow Grey across six sizes. For riders who want one bike that does most things well — fast road days, long mixed-surface routes, loaded brevets — the Krypton makes a strong case.

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.

Slightly repetitive but I did love some things
Format: Kindle
I love this type of story. And omegaverse is one of my all time favorite genres. But there are a few things that pulled me out of my enjoyment while I was reading. It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2. Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.

delightful read
Format: Kindle
What a delightful read. The characters are awesome, the plot was so good, I loved it. I was intrigued and it kept me wanting more. Told in multiple pov, the book sucks you in and doesn’t let go. I cannot wait to read the next book.
